Account Recordkeeping Services (ARS) Roles and Permissions

Default Roles within Account Recordkeeping Services

Role Description
ARS Administrator Allows a user to:
  • View/Create/Modify party information for Account Owners/Beneficiaries.
  • View/Create/Modify party information for Transactions.
  • View/Create/Modify party information on the Message Center website.
  • View system created reports and create on-demand reports.
Manage Account Recordkeeping Services Allows an Account Administrator to:
  • Copy an account.
  • Add, edit and delete Account Recordkeeping Services users in Administration.
  • Have basic access to Account Recordkeeping Services.
  • Maintain account information in Administration.

Available Account Recordkeeping Services Permissions

Permission Functions
Basic Access for Account Recordkeeping Services Allows a user to access Account Recordkeeping Services.
Create Account Owner/Beneficiary Allows a user to add new party information on the website including:
  • name
  • address
  • TIN
  • account type
  • mailing address
  • account summary (balance), etc.
Create Message Center Allows a user to create secure e-mail within the Account Recordkeeping Services website.
Create Transaction Allows a user to create specific transaction information including
  • transaction date
  • amount
  • transaction description (contribution, distribution, earnings)
Manage Administration for Account Recordkeeping Services Allows an Account Administrator to access Administration.
Manage IP Filter Allows an Account Administrator to add or remove IP Addresses to the IP Address whitelist within SECURITY.
Warning: Modifying the IP Address Whitelist is not recommended during regular business hours. Users may be negatively affected if changes are made while they are using the application.

  • name

  • account type
  • mailing address
  • account summary (balance), etc.
Modify Message Center Allows a user to access secure e-mail within the Account Recordkeeping Services website.
